Under general supervision, receive and record all incoming products and distribute to various departments as directed by the purchase order. Ensure proper packaging and shipment of outgoing product. Using the company (2 ton) straight truck, pick up and deliver raw materials, components, finished goods and rush parts from suppliers and customers.
Load and unload product from common carriers or vendor trucks.
Ensure quantities noted on packing slips match contents of containers.
Receive products into inventory control system according to purchase order number.
Move product to requisitioning departments as required.
Prepares and loads outbound work-in-process for delivery to vendors and customers.
Notifies supervisor of any problems with procedures or equipment in order to maintain safety, inventory accuracy and productivity.
Maintains high awareness of personal and workplace safety.
Maintains working area in a neat and orderly manner.
Efficiently, lawfully and safely operates a forklift, straight truck or other company vehicles.
Maintains company vehicles to ensure they are clean, orderly and in safe operating condition.
Maintains effective working relationships with fellow employees.
Performs other related duties as necessary.
High School Graduate. Current CDL. Must be able to lift 70 LBS.
