CMM PROGRAMMER / OPERATOR

Position Overview

Plans and programs DCC CMM’s to meet both internal and external QA requirements.
Develops the measuring and monitoring activities required to support everyday manufacturing operations.
Provide support and strategic QA direction for the company’s SPC system.

Qualifications 

High school education or equivalent.
Post high school education in engineering, quality or machining.
Knowledge of GD & T.
DMIS software experience.
ASQC certification desired.

Basic computer skills including MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Responsibilities

Interface with engineering during the production planning phase.
Create and maintain part characteristics data bases.
Plan, create and prove out CMM programs.
Determine requirements and coordinate methods for receiving, first article, in process and final inspections.
Coordinate with tool room on special fixture needs for applications requiring fixtures.
Support manufacturing to determine characteristics and monitoring process data with regards to SPC requirements.
