Position: CNC Horizontal Mill Machinist

Position Overview:

Perform set-ups and operate various CNC mills. We offer 12 hour shifts with bonus, i.e. work 36 hours, get paid for 40 hours.
15% shift premium applies to various shifts.
Perform set-ups and operate CNC horizontal machining centers in a small lot production environment.
Initiate machining processes, tool selection and feeds & speeds on variety of materials being machined.
Blue Prints, CIP, routing sheets, hand tools, precision gauging and measuring tools, CNC machine tools and controls.
Demonstrate skill in CNC and Macro program editing.
Experience with close tolerance precision machining program.
Maintain production rates according to established standards.
Maintain quality standards according to inspection procedures.
Recommend changes for improved quality and productivity.
Maintain high awareness of safety procedures.
Maintain work area in a safe, neat and orderly manner.
Perform other related duties as necessary. 

Required experience:

High school diploma or equivalent. Machine trades secondary education. One to three years experience working with CNC horizontal machining centers. Understanding GD&T print reading.
