SHIFT INSPECTOR (QA)
Position Overview
Under general supervision, evaluate and report conformance of vendor and finished product relative to established quality standards.
Responsibilities
Broad knowledge of inspection equipment including CMM setup and calibration.
Run parts thru CMM and interpret results.
Perform receiving, in process and final inspections.
Perform first article inspections on complicated tight tolerance parts.
Ability to multitask in a fast paced atmosphere.
Maintain working area in a neat and orderly manor.
Adheres to and promotes all company safety rules.
Maintain effective working relationship with fellow employees.
Perform other related duties as necessary.
Qualifications
High school education or equivalent. Post high school education in engineering, quality or machining. Blue print reading and GD&T understanding. ASQC certification desirable.
